Mabels Cottage

Mabels Cottage is a delightful 18th Century red brick cottage set in a pretty conservation village on the edge of a 70 acre unspoilt common which is home to many rare insects and flowers. Ajoining the owners thatched cottage, it overlooks a small pond and green - a peaceful setting with walks from the door.

The cottage is a beamed and cosy property, renovated to a high standard. Entrance hall and sitting room with a wood burning stove, through to a lovely dining room full of atmosphere. The kitchen is fitten with all modern amenities, and off this is a large original pantry. Also downstairs is the bathroom with bath and electric shower and separate WC. Upstairs is a small landing with a double bedroom to the front, and twin room at the back, with plenty of room for a cot or fold down bed. The cottage has steep traditional stairs, so is not suitable for the elderly or disabled. The proprietors personnally maintain the cottage. Outside is a fully enclosed garden with patio and BBQ facilities.

Prices range from £200 per week
